Praga District

Praga District

On the right bank of Vistula river, in Praga district, the east used to meet with the west. This is the place where merchants and travelers from distant lands of Russian Empire settled. It used to be a true melting pot where Catholic faith, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Judaism coexisted. Today, this is a place where the city is the most authentic but also the most vulnerable. Praga has been neglected far too long but the time for a change has come. On this rich, culturally fertile soil, the new, free and artistic spirit grows in strength. During our tour we will decipher all the layers: these more evident and also those buried deeper in the tissue of the city.

I will be thrilled to show you:

National Stadium - Artistic Soho Factory - Ząbkowska Street - Vodka Factory Koneser - Bazar Różyckiego - Jewish Mikveh - St. Florian Cathedral - Orthodox Cathedral of St. Magdalene
The tour will last approximately 3-4 hours.
