I was born in Warsaw. I remember the city from my childhood. The forgotten capital behind the Iron Curtain, daunting and grim. But then the unstoppable wave of freedom brought the enthusiasm and the audacity of transformation. And now it is such an adventure to watch the city grow more vibrant and elegant with each passing day. Let me take you on a tour. Together we will discover the hidden layers of the past but we will also experience the excitement of today!

Hello, I'm Anna

Yes, I grew up in Warsaw, but my relationship with the city was far from being easy. At first, all I wanted was to escape. The reality of the everyday life in the city just recovering from long years of the communism was far from glamorous. Curiosity and passion for discovering new, inspiring worlds, until then completely inaccessible, led me to choose International Relations as the subject of my studies at Warsaw University. The theory was never enough so my travels brought me to various distant places. And gave me a new perspective. The city, which I took for granted, became my passion. My insatiable appetite led to a deep appreciation and fascination with Warsaw's resilience and optimism.

And I love to share it!

  • In  Warsaw,  we had unfortunately only a few hours but Anna, our guide,  was untiring in telling us and explaining the history of your country and even if Warsaw cannot show much of its past beauty and richness, Anna made us see what there wasn’t anymore.
